Burn Your Armor

Woman looking up in a forestA reflection written in 2015 – still alive in me today.

Each night before sleep, burn your armor.

Allow yourself to shed the tension you’ve gathered during the day.
To dissolve the postures, the roles, the silent efforts to hold it all together.
So you can be reborn — soft, clean, alive — with the dew settling gently on the face of the child you still are.

Wake up with courage.
With strength.
And with the quiet excitement of putting on a different skin — one that feels closer to who you really are.

Enjoy the incredible possibility of reinventing yourself,
of remembering that life is not meant to harden you — but to open you, soften you, and let you begin again.

May surprise return to your eyes.
May you fall in love again with who you are becoming.
